Symposium Highlights!
- Symposium presentations occurred Wednesday and all day Thursday.
- A lively poster session was held on Wednesday afternoon to present research findings from several scientists (many students). Student presenters from Purdue University were the winners of the best student presentations this year!
- An awards banquet was held on Wednesday evening to honor lifetime accomplishments and outstanding achievements in water resources in Indiana. See the summary below.
- Dr. Sujay Kaushal, University of Maryland, gave a keynote presentation entitled, “Freshwater Salinization Syndrome: A Small Story about Salt and Its Big Global Impacts.”
- IWRA Business Meeting was held, followed by a social and networking gathering.
- Field trip to Ogle and Stahl Dams in Brown County State Park concluded the conference.
