Active 2025 IWRA members received an email informing them that they qualify to register at the discounted membership rate. If you are not an active member, renew your membership! If you will attend the Symposium, you can add membership dues to your registration; otherwise, renew here:

Please also consider a donation to our student scholarship fund; we have many student presentations this year, and all student presenters attend the conference for free.
We are very aware of limitations on many agencies and organizations for conference attendance, professional development opportunities, and travel. If you would like to attend the Symposium, but would like to request an accommodation (discount) for registration fees, please contact the 2025 IWRA President (Garth Lindner, glindner@dnr.in.gov) to work through it.
The 2025 Symposium will be at the Abe Martin Lodge at Brown County State Park in Melodeon Hall. The full schedule of a wide range of exciting topics will be sent out soon.
Symposium check-in will begin at Noon on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, with the event starting at 1:00 pm ET.
Symposium Highlights!
- Dr. Sujay Kaushal of the University of Maryland will give a keynote presentation on freshwater salinization (salt) impacts.
- Technical presentations from a wide range of scientists will convey project descriptions and findings about water quality and quantity, technical advancements, and policy and planning topics on Wednesday and Thursday.
- A lively poster session on Wednesday evening will present research findings from several scientists (many students).
- There will be a half-day field trip tour of dams under active maintenance in Brown County State Park on Friday.
We will also have a business meeting and time to socialize.
