44th Indiana Water Resources Association Symposium: June 25-27, 2025 at

The Symposium will be at Brown County State Park (1405 S.R. 46 W. Nashville, IN 47448). Check-in and on-site registration check-in will begin at noon (ET) on Wednesday, June 25.
Attendees who are coming for the day and who do not have overnight lodging can qualify for a gate waiver. All overnight attendees must pay the one-time per vehicle gate fee of $7 (in-state) or $9 (out of state).
The event starts at 1:00 pm ET on Wednesday, June 25, and will feature speakers discussing topics related to water planning, drought hydrology, climate change, and water quality. The Symposium will conclude around 12:30 pm ET on Friday, after a field trip to Ogle and Stahl Dams in Brown County State Park.
Symposium Highlights!
- Symposia presentations on Wednesday and all day Thursday.
- A lively poster session will be held on Wednesday afternoon to present research findings from several scientists (many students).
- An awards banquet will be held on Wednesday evening to honor lifetime accomplishments and outstanding achievements in water resources in Indiana.
- Dr. Sujay Kaushal, University of Maryland, will give a keynote presentation entitled, “Freshwater Salinization Syndrome: A Small Story about Salt and Its Big Global Impacts.”
- IWRA Business Meeting will be held at 7pm on Thursday, June 26, 2025, followed by a social and networking gathering.
- Field trip to Ogle and Stahl Dams in Brown County State Park on Friday.
